800-volt technology improves charging times at DC fast-charging stations. Charge from 10% to 80% in around 22 minutes – that’s about the time it takes to stretch your legs or grab a quick bite.
Use a DC fast charger with a power of up to 300 kW for the Single Motor drive system and 350 kW for Twin Motor versions.
Charging reminders
When the remaining range is low, the car automatically reminds you to charge. You can easily find nearby public charging stations on Google Maps in the center display. The driver can then add a preferred charging station to the planned route and receive navigation instructions, estimated time of arrival and expected charge level upon arrival at the charging station. Alternatively, if the charge level at the destination is low and no charging station has been selected, Google Maps can suggest charging stops along the route and add them to the planned route.
Battery preparation
Select a charging station as your destination and the car can heat or cool the battery before you arrive. Prepping the battery can ensure it reaches the optimal temperature for charging, so you spend less time waiting at the station.
